Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Overview

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been launched in India at Rs 2,39,000 (ex-showroom). Royal Enfield & REV’IT are offering a limited-edition all-weather premium riding gear range which includes riding gloves, jackets & pants, starting at Rs 8,990. Royal Enfield has also opened a new exclusive apparel store in Pune. The new RE apparel store sells riding gear, clothes & lifestyle accessories.

Moreover, a lot of touring-friendly accessories will also be available with the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450. Also, Royal Enfield is working on six new bikes. Read our story to know more about the launch timelines and other details.

It gets a round headlight and a curvy fuel tank design with flat surfaces on either side, with the Royal Enfield badging to be also there on the production version. The rear section, with the integrated taillight and turn indicators, looks very similar to the Himalayan 450. The raised handlebar and the mid-set footpegs mean that the riding posture will be upright. It is expected to get the circular semi-digital instrument cluster from the Super Meteor 650, and the higher variant will get the round TFT console from the Himalayan 450. The upcoming Guerrilla will come equipped with a telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup (with lower travel than the Himalayan 450) while braking duties will be taken care of by disc brakes at both ends.

It will share the same 450cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Himalayan 450, which makes 40PS and 40Nm, with the tuning expected to be different to suit the roadster’s characteristics.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is expected to be priced at around Rs 2.20 lakh - Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom), introductory. It will rival the Triumph Speed 400, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Hero Mavrick 440, Harley-Davidson X440 and QJ Motor SRC 500.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is a roadster, and is based on the same platform as the Himalayan 450. It gets the same engine without any change in output. However, there are quite a few changes to the chassis to suit its road-going nature.

Best motor cycle made by re after many years also keeping in mind that there are short riders too who wants to enjoy their re ride.In short it's a compact motor cycle with great performance.I loved it but the sad thing is i can't afford one 😭 i can only dream of getting one.I have enjoyed the test ride.

It will be best looking bike with 450 engine and i am very excited to purchase it when lunch.I have read many articles and saw some pictures it looks like similar to scram 411.Light weight and free to handle.
